On December 21, 1993, VeggieTales: Where's God When I'm S-Scared was released. The first 500 copies have an unfinished version of the theme song. The differences are below:
- The titles appear a bit earlier.
- Larry nods his head after Bob says "Have we got a show for you!", something he didn't do until the 1998 version of the theme song.
- The clips start when "VeggieTales!" is sang the second time.
- There are slightly different clips. (They are still from the episode Where's God When I'm S-Scared, which is the only episode to have this theme song.)
- The "Broccoli, celery, gotta be; Lima beans, collard greens, peachy keen; Cauliflower, sweet and sour, half an hour" parts aren't there.
It remained a rumor for many years. However, on December 12, 2015, the theme song has finally been uploaded to YouTube. It can be seen below.
