Your Face Sounds Familiar was a live light entertained Summer filler that aired on ITV1 between Saturday 29th June til 3rd August 2013, which only lasted 1 season. It was presented by Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness alongside Britain's Got Talent judge & Strictly Come Dancing 2007 champion Alesha Dixon and was judged by a revolving door of various guest judges such as Julian Clary, Peter Andre, Emma Bunton, Kian Egan name but a fair few. The show was a crossover between The X Factor & Stars in Their Eyes.

6 well-known B-list celebrities took part in the making of the show, impersonating a different pop star/singer each week, as chosen by "The Randomiser" (where it selected the following week's chosen singer). The 6 stars were:-

  • Pointless presenter Alexander Armstrong.
  • Comedian Bobby Davro.
  • "Heather" from EastEnders Cheryl Fergison.
  • Team GB Athlete Denise Lewis.
  • This Morning showbiz reporter Matt Johnson.
  • Emmerdale actress Natalie Anderson.

Winning the one and only series was Natalie Anderson, who impersonated Mariah Carey & Jessie J on the final night. As with these sort of shows, the judges scored each performance. Other pop stars impersonated were Tina Turner, Tom Jones, Kate Bush, Bon Jovi and modern contemporary acts such as Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift & Britney Spears.

The show was cancelled after only 1 season on 25th October 2013, despite decent ratings; there were talks of a potential 2nd series, which never happened because there wasn't any space in the 2014 schedules. On 21st November 2014, it was announced that it wouldn't be returning at all because Stars in Their Eyes was coming back, hosted by Harry Hill, which ended up being a flop.

After the show's cancellation, there isn't enough footage captured from this programme (this is usually the case with long-forgotten 21st century underrated unscripted celebrity-based TV shows); though all of the performances on the final night were uploaded by YouTuber LiamSJewitt, Cat & Mouse animations had surfaced The Randomiser in motion, the official trailer was uploaded on ITV's YouTube channel whilst the titles/graphics were created by Jamal*Peace on Vimeo. Charlie Brooker had also briefly reviewed it on his 2013 Wipe for a few seconds too. Other clips have been uploaded by several other users too.
